Privacy & data protection

What we do with your information.

Your documents decide your life, so how we handle your information matters. Here it is in plain language — no legalese.

Our privacy practices

This plain-language summary is under legal review. It describes how we handle your information today; the final reviewed text will replace it before launch.

What we collect

Your name and phone number, an email if you give one, and the details and documents of the service you ask us to handle. If you take a course, we also keep your attendance and results. We do not collect anything we do not need to do the work you asked for.

Why we collect it

To prepare, file, and track your paperwork; to reach you with updates on WhatsApp; and to issue and verify your documents and certificates. That is all.

Who can see it

Only the staff working on your case, and the official government systems we must file into on your behalf (for example the court system, the land system, or Irembo). We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

For as long as we are working on your case, and for the period the law requires us to keep records after that. When that period ends, or when you ask us to delete it and we are allowed to, we remove it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. These are your rights under Rwandan data protection law (Law No. 058/2021).

Ask for a copy, or ask us to delete

Message us on WhatsApp or email contact@sinika.rw and tell us you want a copy of your information, or that you want it deleted. We confirm your request, act on it within the time the law allows, and tell you when it is done.

Your information is protected under Rwandan data protection law (Law No. 058/2021).
